Women's Service
The Sisterhood of Temple
Beth El will mark Sisterhood
Shabbat with a celebration of
the birthday of the State of
Israel and a tribute to its
women 8 p.m. April 23 at the
temple.
The service, "In Celebra-
tion of Yom Ha'atzmaut: The
Women of Israel In Sermon
and Song," was written by
Sisterhood members Denny
Brown, Kim Dickstein, Lucy
Gersten, Carol Israel, Sybil
Lerner, Sandi Reitelman and
Judy Schwartz. Participating
in the service will be Cantor
Gail Hirschenfang, the TBE
Choir and Sisterhood mem-
bers Fayclare Blau, Denny
Brown, Miriam Cohen, Kim
Dickstein, Lois Gerenraich,
Lucy Gersten, Faye Goldman,
Marlene Goodman, Marilyn
Hersh, Francene Kaplan,
Sybil Lerner, Fran Malin, Lee
Ann Salle, Judy Schwartz,

and Lynn Yoffee as well as
Sisterhood president, Carol

The service will be preced-
ed by a Sisterhood Shabbat
Dinner at 6:15 p.m. There is
a charge for dinner and reser-
vations are necessary. The
service is open to the com-
munity without charge.
