RON LUX, son of Sally and
Nate Lux of Southfield, was
presented the Scott Newman
Award for writing the "Mur-
phy Brown" episode titled
"On the Rocks." The award
was originated as a drug
abuse prevention program
and dedicated to the son of
Paul Newman who died as a
result of drugs.
