ince March is National
Social Work Month
and April is National
Humor Month, it was
fitting that humor educator
Lila Green of Aim Arbor
spoke at a recent Sinai
Hospital Department of
Medical Social Work pro-
gram. Ms. Green spoke on
the importance of humor and
how to add humor into your
life.
She believes humor is the
best coping medicine and
great for stress reduction.
"No one suffers from
hardening of the attitude,"
she said. She offered sugges-
tions to the social workers to
liven up the work place by
putting up humorous car-
toons, baby photos of them-
selves and sharing stories.
Ms. Green presents pro-
grams to health care profes-
sionals and business groups.
She also speaks to classes at
the University of Michigan.
Her message: "Laugh often,
and I believe life is much too
important to be taken seri-
ously.".
Some of the social workers
in the audience included:
Michael Margolin, manag-
er of the medical social work
department, Deborah
Perlman, Cynthia
Rosenfeld, Judy Freed-
man, Ken Sherman, Rena
Glasser and Fern Selling.
Amy Brown, director of
volunteer services, and
Hope Silverman, president
of the Sinai Guild, attended
the presentation.

Rosner has been an adviser
to the Rose AZA group for 18

leave as young men. It's a
terrific experience," said Mr.
Rosner.
Another honoree was Jeff
Adler, adviser to Kishon
AZA. When Dr. Adler was in
AZA, Mickey Rosner was his
adviser.
"AZA was very rewarding,
and I decided I want to help
others have this great expe-
