The Michigan Flute Orches-
tra, an ensemble conducted
by Shaul Ben-Meir, will per-
form at a meeting of the
Music Study Club of Metro-
politan Detroit 3 p.m. March
28 at the Birmingham
Temple.
Shaul Ben Meir, founder
and director of the Michigan
Flute Orchestra, is a member
of the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra. He is a former prin-
cipal flautist for the Haifa
Symphony Orchestra and stu-
dent of Jean-Pierre Rampal.
Mr. Ben-Meir also is a mem-
ber of the Renissance Wood-
wind Quintet and a soloist
and recording artist.
A coffee hour will follow the
concert. There is a charge. For
