Zvi Gitelman Gives Lecture Zvi Gitelman, professor of political science at the University of Michigan, will be the speaker at the second annual Shaarey Zedek Korn- wise Memorial Lecture 2 p.m. March 21 at the synagogue. Dr. Gitelman speaks Rus- sian, Hebrew, Yiddish, French and Polish and has published eight books and over 50 articles. Rabbi Polish RABBI DANIEL POLISH, senior rabbi at Temple Beth El since 1988, will be award- ed an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree at the Cincin- nati campus of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. The honor marks the 25th anniversary of his ordination at the Cincinnati campus. DAVID M. DEUTSCH of Leo Knight Photography recently competed in the Mid-East States Affiliated Photography Exhibition hosted by the Professional Photographers of Ohio.
