recently celebrated their 50th
anniversary with family and
friends at a dinner party at
Morels hosted by their
children, Nancy and James
Jonas, Suzi and Steve

Malach, and their six grand-
children, Jennifer, Jessica
and Julie Jonas, Jeffrey,
Daniel and Bradley Malach.
Earlier in the year, they
celebrated with a trip to
Israel.

Support Groups
Planned By Space

Rainbows for All Children
will meet 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Wednesday nights, April 14,
21, 28, May 9, 12, 19, 26 and
June 2 and 9. The group is for
children ages 5 to 15 who
have suffered a loss in their
lives. A parent education
group meeting takes place at
the same time. There is a fee
which includes all materials
,D and the parent education
group.
Dorothy Schmittdiel of
Jewish Vocational Service
will present information on
re-entering the job market
April 18. Coffee, tea and
> bagels will be served 9:45-10
a.m. with the program star-
ting at 10 a.m. A donation is
suggested.
Space for Changing Fami-
' lies, a non-sectarian com-
munity service of National
\) Council of Jewish Women,
' Greater Detroit Section, will
offer a Divorce Support Group
7:15-9:30 p.m. Thursday
nights, April 1, 8, 15 and 22.
Pre-registration is required.
A donation is suggested.

A drop-in divorce support
discussion group will meet
7:15-9:30 p.m. on Monday
nights, April 19 and 26. No
registration is required; a
donation is suggested.

United Hebrew Schools.
The speaker is Zvi Gitel-
man, professor of political
science and Preston R. Tisch,
professor of Judaic Studies at
the University of Michigan.
His topic is "The Future of
the Jews in the Former Soviet
Union: Challenge or Oppor-
