Study Group's monthly
meeting takes place at 12:30
p.m. March 11 at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Com-
munity Center. Yiddish
speakers are invited to par-
ticipate in discussion of
Jewish thought, literature
and culture.
Hearing Loss Support
Group will meet 10 a.m.
March 12.
The Yiddish Film Series
will meet 2 p.m. March 12 to
see God, Man and Devil.
"Beauty and the Beast"
with an all-children's cast,
produced by Nancy Gurwin,
will present its closing perfor-
mance March 14. Lunch will
be served at 12:30 with a 2
p.m. show time. There is a
charge.
Harriet Gelfond is offering
art classes 9 " a.m. to noon
Monday, Wednesday and Fri-
day. Folkdance lessons will be
offered 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays.
Medicare counseling is
available to senior adults at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Building on Thursdays at
noon. Call JPM for an ap-
pointment, 967-4030. There is
no charge.
Broadway show tunes and
Yiddish melodies are part of
the Wednesday Afternoon
Social held 1-3 p.m. each
week.

Seniors Hear
Purim 'Koncert'

Krieger Klassics will present
a Purim Koo-Koo Koncert, 3
p.m. March 7 in Southfield's
Prentis Manor. Friends and
relatives of Prentis residents
are invited to bring their
children in costume.
Featured will be Leetal
Platt, 7, who will sing selec-
tions from The Little Mer-
maid and accompany herself
on the piano in a group of
Hebrew songs, and Ji-In Lee,
keyboardist, who will play
baroque selections.
Shalach manot provided by
the Lubavitch Women's Or-
ganization will be distributed
to the residents. Krieger
Klassics, under the direction
of Jocelyn Ruth Krieger, will
also visit McDonald Towers,
Lahser Hills, Mount Vernon
and Federation Apartments
on Purim.
