Springs, Calif., died Feb. 25.
He is survived by his wife,
Mollie; son, Jerry, of
Tarzana, Calif.

Wattenberg

Dr. William Wolff Watten-
berg, 82, of Bloomfield Hills,
died March 1. An education-
al mediator, he received a
doctorate from Columbia in
educational psychology, was
a superintendent of the
Detroit Public Schools, a
professor emeritus of Wayne
State University, a board
member of Michigan Society
for Mental Health and
authored the first driving
manual, "Man and The
Motor Car."

He was active with juve-
nile delinquency programs
through the police depart-
ment and was an advisor to
their youth programs. A
past president of the
Retired Faculty Association
of Wayne State University,
Dr. Wahenberg received
many awards from the
Michigan State House and
Senate.
He leaves his wife, Jean,
sons and daughter-in-law,
David and Chris of Troy, Dr.
Frank of Bountiful, Utah;
brothers and sisters-in-law,
Dr. Albert and Alice of
Champaign, Ill., Dr. Lee
and Esther; four grandchil-
dren.

During the coming week Yeshiva Beth Yehudah will
