Stone-Gruger

Jennifer Ellen Stone and
Thomas Andrew Gruger were
married recently at the Hotel
Inter-Continental in Chicago.
Rabbi Jan Brahms of Madi-
son, Wis., officiated at the
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Stone
of Evanston, Ill. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wal-
ter Gruger of Youngstown,
Ohio. The bride's attendants
were her sisters, Andrea
Stone Zuckert of Evanston,
Stephanie Stone of Cleveland;
the groom's sisters, Valerie
Haller of Winnetka, Rebecca
Borden of Cleveland, Melissa
Scott of La Grange; and
friends, Gail Schrawder of
Evanston, Megan O'Meara
and Jennifer Sutcliffe of
Chicago. The bride's grand-
mother, Mrs. Dora Bachman
of Southfield, also partici-
pated.

The best man was the
groom's brother, Walter
Gruger III of Atlanta, Ga.
Other groomsmen were
Thomas Fox of Chicago,
Joseph Carson of Imperial,
Pa., Albert Davies III of St.
Clairsville, Ohio, Henry Vogel
and Lawrence Napolitan of
Lakewood, Ohio. Also par-
ticipating in the service were
Curt Zuckert of Evanston,
Daniel Pekarsky and Jeffrey
Schwartz of Cleveland and
Deborah Stern of Chicago.
The bride received her
bachelor's degree from Miami
University in Oxford, Ohio.
The groom also received his
bachelor's degree from Miami
University. He is associate
manager of public relations
with the Titlist and Foot-Joy
Company.
The newlywed couple
honeymooned in Antigua and
now live in Newport, R.I.

Garon-Thammata

Srisamorn Thammata and
Howard Ira Garon were mar-
ried recently in Chiang Mai,
Thailand. Srisamorn is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Suthat Thammata of Ban
Rai, Thailand. Howard is the
son of Barry and Annette
Garon, formerly of Oak Park,
now of Tucson, Ariz.
Srisamorn will continue
working as a health specialist
in cooperation with local of-
ficials and the World Health
Organization at the Lam-
phun Hospital in Lamphun,
Thailand. Howard will con-
tinue in his job as a special

lecturer of automotive engi-
neering at the University of
Chaing Mai, Thailand.
The bride's parents, her two
sisters and one brother, to-
gether with her close rela-
tives, were all present. The
groom's parents, sister,
brother-in-law and nephew,
together with the groom's
brother and sister-in-law, all
participated at the wedding.
The happy couple are plan-
ning to honeymoon in the
United States when their
schedules permit. They are
presently residing in Lam-
pun, Thailand.
