Plans Lunch, Program Women's League Makes Awards The Sisterhood of Adat Shalom will hold its annual Sonia Knopper Purim Outreach Luncheon 11:30 a.m. Mar. 1 at the synagogue. Approximately 60 inner-city Jews will be Sisterhood's guests. The morning will feature a musical performance by Can- tor Larry Vieder, accom- panied by Rochelle Lupovitch, as well as the songs and art work of Mat Shalom Nursery School children. The Hillel Day School eighth-grade class will help to serve. The program is planned in conjunction with Jewish Vocational Service. The Sisterhood will feature Mimi Markofsky, the "in- 'house chef' for Jewish Ex- periences For Families, in a Passover Cooking Demonstra- tion 6:45 p.m. March 8 at the synagogue. Ms. Markofsky has taught cooking classes for Hadassah and in congregations throughout the community. She will prepare tuna quiche, Toll House cookies and more — all kosher for Passover.
