discussion will feature Rabbi
Elliot Pachter, Sue Stettner,

Temple Emanu-El will hold a
study Shabbat on Shabbat
Shekalim, 8:14 p.m. Feb. 19 at
the temple. Erev Shabbat ser-
vices will be followed by a
study session and Oneg Shab-
bat. Participants may choose
between three sessions:
"Shabbat Shekalim: Is
Reform the 'easy' way out"
with Rabbi Amy B. Bigman;
"Dig Israel With the Roses"
with Cantor Norman and
Euni Rose; "Shabbat
Shekalim: Endowing Jewish
Life" with Ira Wise and Beth
Robinson.

Class, Lecture

Aish HaTorah will sponsor a
class on Shabbat cooking 8:30
p.m. Feb. 18. This class will
learn traditional Shabbat
recipes, methods of prepara-
tion and relevant Halachah
for preparing Shabbat meals.
The class will meet for four
weeks at the home of Mrs.
Suzy Tawil in Oak Park.
