extras in the movie Used
People, starring Shirley
MacLaine, Kathy Bates,
Jessica Tandy and
Marcello Mastroianni. Ms.
Katz's brother, John Tin-
tori, who edited the movie,
put the two authors in touch
with the extras casting di-
rector in Toronto.
The women spent three
exhausting days filming the
wedding scene. "It was like
heaven and hell. We worked
