Tel Aviv (JTA) — Two
_ soldiers of the South Leb-
anon Army were killed and
eight wounded in an attack
by Hezbollah forces on an
SLA base in the eastern sec-
• tor of the southern Lebanon
• security zone.
The assault came hours
after the announcement that
• Israel's High Court of
Justice upheld the tem-
porary expulsions of more
than 415 Islamic fundamen-
z' talist.
The deportees are sta-
• tioned in an area near where
) the pro- Iranian Muslim ex-
tremist organization
operates in Lebanon.
The Arab world is deman-
• ding the immediate return of
all the deportees, and the
;-- Hezbollah attack was prob-
, ably intended to underline
• that demand.
Hezbollah forces also
shelled another SLA base
• nearby. The SLA forces
replied to the attack by
• launching an artillery born-
' bardment on Hezbollah
bases in the Al-Tufach area.
