Zausner-Weinstein

Rita and Paul Zausner of New
York City are pleased to an-
nounce the engagement of
their daughter, Debra Ruth to
Dr. Cliff Weinstein, son of
Robert and Edie Weinstein of
Woodmere, Long Island. Deb-
bie is the granddaughter of
Sam and Bette Hooberman of
Farmington Hills.
Debbie received her
bachelor's degree from Boston
University School of Public
Communications and is an
advertising account executive
for Emmerling Post Agency
in New York.
Cliff graduated from Emory
University in Georgia and
received a degree in dentistry
from Buffalo University. Cliff
> has a dental practice in New
Jersey.
An April wedding is
planned.

Machon Plans
History Lecture

Machon L'Torah will co-
sponsor a Jewish history lec-
ture, featuring an in-depth
analysis of Jewish history in
the Second Temple era, 9 p.m.
Feb. 13 at Machon.
The lecture series is given
by Rabbi Shmuel Irons, a
talmudic scholar and gradu-
ate of Ner Israel Rabbinical
College in Baltimore. Rabbi
Irons is a co-founder of the
Kollel Institute of Greater
Detroit.

B'nai Moshe
Israel Party

The Youth Department of
Congregation B'nai Moshe
will host youth in grades K-12
and their parents to a party
Israeli style 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Feb. 15 at the synagogue.
The group will learn Israeli
folk dancing led by Shelly
Jackier, and view a USY sum-
mer in Israel film. Afterward,
the children and their par-
ents will have falafel. The
first ten people to respond to
Nancy Vardy, 788-0600, will
receive a special prize. There
is a charge.
