Jon as a "computer guru."
In fact, the guru says he of-
ten works 75 hours a week.
Matthew also keeps a full
schedule. The brothers stress
that much of their motivation
comes from their parents' sup-
port and good examples.
David Engelbert, their fa-
ther, conducts business from
the home. He has worked as
an independent investment
adviser since leaving a career
in banking 11 years ago.
"(My sons) saw how a busi-
ness could be built," he said.
"It's so much more satisfying

him saying, 'No matter what,
you're never going to get this
sold in your own back yard,"
Matthew said.

company.
Competition with other
manufacturers is a continual
concern, but Beige Bag Soft-
ware touts low prices. A pro-
gram for businesses costs
$149. A new version of B2 Log-
ic will sell for $249 when it hits
the market. The company dis-
counts its programs to $35 for
students.
Beige Bag Software adver-

also established itself as an in-
