Mr. Stern has an eclectic style that com- bines jazz, rock and roll and rhythm and blues. "It's very diverse," says the 25-year- old musician. Mr. Stern is a Southfield resident and University of Michigan music school graduate. He is the son of Norton and Sherrie Stern of Farmington Hills. His father is his manager. "He's the man; he's the business. Faygo Beverages Inc. has a music promotion campaign and has sponsored Scott and the band. Stan Sheridan, president of Faygo, says that the Detroit company and the band both benefit with this joint ven- ture. Faygo is also listening to Mr. Stern's tapes for a possible advertising cam- paign.
