The Federation Leadership
Development Department
and the Detroit Friends of the
Newish Theological Seminary
will co-sponsor a special
lunch and learn program
12:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at the
Federation building.
The speaker will be Dr.
Harvey Meirovich, coor-
dinator of the Seminary's
Community Leadership
Training Program developed
for Russian immigrants in
Israel. Dr. Meirovich will
speak on "Now That They
Are Free, Will They Be
Jewish: Israel's Absorption of
/-Itussian Jews."
The Community Leader-
7' ship Training Program,
directed by the Bet Midrash,
the Israeli affiliate of the
Jewish Theological Seminary,
trains educational and corn-
munal leaders to serve the
growing Russian speaking
community in Israel, teach-
ing them to impart Jewish
values..
A deli lunch will be
available starting at noon at
