American Cancer
Society Gift Show was
a success thanks to the
efforts of Marlene Myers,
Lynn Aleman, Sue and
Jay Kalisky. The event
raised $5,000.
Many local artisans and
retailers sold their gift
items. A portion of the ven-
dor sales went to the Shirley
Wimmer Memorial Fund of
the American Cancer Socie-
ty. Eva Wimmer, Shirley's
mother, attended the event.
Some of the artists and ven-
