Participants on Project
Otzma, a year-long volunteer
service program in Israel for
young adults, learn firsthand
about Israel's history, lan-
guage, culture and lifestyle,
while working on kibbutz, in
a development town, a reset-
tlement center and with
Israeli teens at risk. After-
ward, they fulfill a commit-
ment of service to the Detroit
Jewish community.
