Hosts Scholar

The Chevrat Torah of Temple
Kol Ami will sponsor its an-
nual scholar-in-residence pro-
gram Jan. 22. Guest scholar
will be Dr. Judith R. Baskin,
chair of the Department of
Judaic Studies at the State
University of New York at
Albany.
On Jan. 22, Dr. Baskin's lec-
ture during services will be
on "The Jewish Family: Lear-
ning from the Past to Meet
the Challenges of the Future."
Services begin 8 p.m. Satur-
day lecture during the
Chevrat Torah session, which
begins at 9:15 a.m., will be:
"Wives and Husbands in the
Midrash." Both programs will
take place at Temple Kol
Ami.
A lunch and learn session
with Dr. Baskin has been
scheduled for noon Jan. 22 at
the Midrasha College of
Jewish Studies. There is a
charge for this program. To

songs have been added. The
cast includes Eddie
Feigelman, Elie Francis,
Larry Singal, and David
Ungar.
