The annual Shabbat obser- vance focuses on the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and its Allied Jewish Campaign, Detroit Jewry's major fund-raising appeal, which benefits thousands of people through 60 health and human service agencies local- ly, in Israel and overseas.
