from nose shaping to ear
pinning, you name it and
you can change it.

you're unhappy with what fate gave you, no prob-

lem. New techniques in plastic surgery allow for reshaping

your face and/or body. All you need is the time, desire and,

of course, money.

The recent interest in health clubs and healthful eating has

been a boon for cosmetic surgeons. Everyone wants to look

better, especially those who are competing with younger peo-

ple in their careers. Other prime can-

didates for plastic surgery are former

sunworshippers who, when they

hit middle age, see the effects on

their faces of their nature-loving ways.

Between 1988 and 1990, cosmetic surgery procedures

jumped 2 percent, but since 1981 the estimated total is up a

whopping 69 percent, according to the American Society

of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, a professional soci-

ety of board-certified plastic surgeons.
