A special Millage Renewal Election will be held in the Farmington Public
School District on the 2nd day of February, 1993.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the last day upon which unregistered
persons may register in order to be able to vote at said election is:

Monday, January 4, 1993
up to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time



10a.m. -

Application for registration should be made to the clerk of the city or
township in which the elector resides. Registration will be received during
regular office hours Monday through Friday of each week. Farmington
City residents may register at City Hall, 23600 Liberty Street. Farmington
Hills residents may register at the Farmington Hills City Hall, 31555
Eleven Mile Road. West Bloomfield Township residents may register at
the West Bloomfield Township Hall, 4550 Walnut Lake Road. Registration
will also be received at the branches of the Michigan Secretary of State.

Persons already registered upon the registration books of such city or
township need not re-register.

JCC Plans
Class, Meetings

The Sign Language Class,
for beginners, will hold
classes starting 4:30-5:30
p.m. Jan. 5, at the Maple-
Drake Jewish Community
Center. For five Tuesdays,
the class will meet to
introduce the American
Sign Language to adults
and school age children.
There is a fee for the
classes plus class materi-
al. For details, call the
Center, 661-1000.
The JCC in cooperation
with Sinai Hospital will
offer a Bereavement Peer
Support Group at the
Maple-Drake building 1
p.m. Jan. 6 for four weeks.
At the Jimmy Prentis
Morris building, meetings
will start 9:45 a.m. Jan. 7
for six weeks. For details
call the Center.
The JCC will host
"Improving Communica-
tion Between the Sexes" 1
p.m. Jan. 6 Maple-Drake.
There is a charge for non-

Reading
Speech
Techniques will be an
eight-week series of class-
es starting Jan. 4 at
Maple-Drake. This class
offers communication
skills to those with hear-
ing impairments. There is
a charge.

Lunch, Learn
Study Set

Rabbi Aaron Bergman will
lead the Conservative
movement's Torah study,
12:30-1:30 p.m. Jan. 7 at
the Federation building.
He will examine the final
chapters of Genesis. A deli
lunch will be available for
a charge, starting at noon.
Rabbi Bergman is the
associate rabbi at Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses and
also serves as the Hillel
Day School rabbi.
The study group is spon-
sored jointly by the
Jewish Theological Semin-
ary, Michigan Region
United Synagogue of
Conservative Judaism and
the Michigan Region
Rabbinical Assembly.
