BAIS YAAKOV

Several hundred moms came
last Sunday to the Sally
Allan Alexander Beth Jacob
School for a performance
featuring 6th, 7th and 8th
graders in song, dance and
drama.
One play focused on a
young Jew forced to join the
czar's army. He returns
home to find it's Rosh
Hashanah. Though long
estranged from his religion,
the young man's prayers are
uttered with such sincerity
the rabbi cannot help but
notice.
Proud parents in the au-
dience included Malkie

Torgow, Naomi Roberg,
Bonnie Lax and Peggy
Letvin. Among the young

stars in the performance
were Devorah Brenner,

Sue Kerwin

Aviva Jacobovitz, Aviva
Drucker, Rachel Last,
Henna Tolwin and
Miriam Rosenfeld.

sented The Music Man with
