ART CO
NT EST
And The Winner Is .. .
enni Bodzin, a 14-year-old freshman at
North Farmington High School who also
attends Temple Israel's high school pro-
gram. Jenni is a veteran of The Jewish News
Chanukah Art Contest, according to her par-
ents Robert and Linda Bodzin. She entered the
last three years. An avid artist, she has been
taking a weekly class in art outside of high
school. "I really like drawing animals," she
says, "but I also like cartoons." Jenni's winning
entry, using markers and pen, incorporated
many of the elements of the
Chanukah holiday: the
Chanukah menorah com-
plete with candles, the drei-
del toy, presents, and a
multi-generational family.
When she heard the tele-
phone message that she had
won the contest and its
$100 prize, Jenni says, "I
was really happy. Really,
really happy." First place
winners in each age group
Jenni Bodzin
will receive $25.
