Chanukah Lights
On WDET-FM

WDET-FM (101.9) will
celebrate the Jewish Festival
of Lights with "Chanukah
Lights 3" 10-11 a.m. Dec. 20.
Airing the first night of
Chanukah, National Public
Radio's Susan Stamberg and
Murray Horwitz will explore
the Chanukah experience in
poetry and prose from the
past to the present.
Ms. Stamberg and Mr. Hor-
witz will read stories from the
works of Sholom Aleichem,
Isaac Bashevis Singer, Faye
Moskowitz and others.
The special will include a
look at Sephardic holiday tra-
ditions, in memory of the
500th anniversary of the ex-
pulsion of the Spanish Jews to
finance Columbus' voyage.

JCC Offers
Music Study

The Jewish Community Cen-
ter offers the Charles H. Ger-
shenson Music Scholarship
Fund to give members of the
Center the opportunity to
study music.
