Hundreds of volunteers, in-
cluding new American teens,
families and members of
youth groups, organizations
and congregations, will par-
ticipate in two Super Weeks
on behalf of the 1993 Allied
Jewish Campaign.
Beginning with Federa-
tion/Campaign Shabbat Jan.
15-16, the Super Weeks will
include the women's Phona-
gift appeal Jan. 17 and 19,
and the Super Sunday
Phonathon Jan. 24, when
volunteers will ask Detroiters
to help their fellow Jews in
need here and around the
world.
Board members of the
Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit, its
agencies, planning divisions
and Young Adult Division
also will make calls on behalf
of the Campaign, which bene-
> fits 60 agencies here, in Israel
and overseas.
Members of the community
also are invited to participate
in one of three available
Super Sunday shifts: 9:30
a.m.-12:15 p.m., 11:45 a.m.-
2:30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m., or in
weekday shifts Jan. 25-29.
The agency shift will take
place from 2-4:45 p.m. on
Super Sunday.
The new Challenge Fund
will make contributing to the
Campaign a double mitzvah:
For every dollar added to last
year's contribution, a mat-
ching dollar will go to the
Campaign. New donors will
see every dollar matched with
two.

Weeks or to volunteer, call
