WOLF GOLD Wolf Gold, 73, died Dec. 5. He was a three-year sur- vivor of the Auschwitz death camp. He came to the Detroit area in 1948 and worked as a kosher slaugh- terer for Feldman Brothers at Eastern Market. He was one of the founders of Young Israel of Greenfield Syn- agogue, where he was presi- dent , vice president and director. After his retire- ment, Mr. Gold worked with the Council of Orthodox Rabbis of Detroit to inspect kosher goods in butcher shops and other businesses.
