B'nai Moshe
Sets Programs
Congregation B'nai Moshe's
LIFE program, grades K-3,
will have a Chanukah
workshop 9:45 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dec. 13 at the synagogue.
The Israeli animation film
Lights will be shown. Jeff
Levin will entertain with
Chanukah songs and sing-a-
longs. A menorah will be
created by each family
atttending.
During the adult study ses-
sion, Rabbi Pachter will lead
a discussion titled "What
Really Happened."
The Synagogue Chanukah
Gift Shop will be open. A
kosher lunch will be provided
for all LIFE members. Non-
LIFE members may purchase
lunch for a fee.

Congregation B'nai Moshe
will continue its Jewish Fam-
ily Encounters series 8 p.m.
Dec. 16 at the synagogue.
The topic for the evening is
"Children of the Book:
Choices in Jewish Educa-
tion." The panel includes
Rabbi Elliot Pachter; Dr.
Helene Cohen, assistant prin-
cipal of Hillel Day School;
Ron Sussman, former director
of Habonim Camp Tabor; and
Lonnie Sussman, social
worker. The program is
open to the community.

The second annual B'nai
Moshe Family Fun Day will
be presented by the Men's
Club and Sisterhood of the
congregation Dec. 25. The
festivities begin at the
synagogue with a brunch at
11 a.m., followed by Israeli
dancing, games, children's ac-
tivities, Shabbat services and
dinner. There is a charge.

Temple Beth El Brother-
hood members and friends
will spend Christmas Day at
Temple Beth El preparing
250 Christmas dinners for the
needy. They will truck the
meals to Christ Cornerstone
Missionary Baptist Church in
Detroit and host a mid-day
Christmas feast.

talks on the Dead Sea Scrolls
8:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Bir-
