KIMBERLY LIFTON STAFF WRITER rnold Budin, execu- tive director for the Jewish Home for Aged for the past sev- en months, resigned last week — just days after the 212-bed Borman Hs11 nursing home passed state in- spection. Mr. Budin, 46, whose resignation was effective im- mediately, came to JHA in April 1991 during former executive di- rector Alan Funk's administration to map out a strategy for a new state-of-the-art nursing home fa- cility. He was elevated to the executive director position last May after the board of directors asked Mr. Funk to step down from his administra- tive role. Mr. Budin said he wanted to wait until Borman got a clean bill !., Arnold Budin to leave. of health from the state before he departed. Since August, Borman twice failed state inspection.
