Arnold Budin Resigns
As Home For Aged Exec

after the 212-bed
Borman Hs11 nursing
home passed state in-
spection.
Mr. Budin, 46,
whose resignation was effective im-
mediately, came to JHA in April
1991 during former executive di-
rector Alan Funk's administration
to map out a strategy for a new
state-of-the-art nursing home fa-
cility.
He was elevated to the executive
director position last May after the
board of directors asked Mr. Funk
to step down from his administra-
tive role.

blonde but also, friends recall, "a little
spooky." She was born in Berlin and hoped to
become a singer. Instead, she became "a
catcher." It all started in the spring of 1943,
when Stella met up with an old friend who made
false identity cards for Jews in hiding. He of-
fered one to Stella. This chance encounter set
into motion a catastrophic chain of events that
resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Jews. They
were all victims of Stella.
