Hosts Rev. Lyons

The next meeting of
Temple Israel Sisterhood
will be held 7:30 p.m. Dec.
10 at the temple. The Rev.
James Lyons, founder and
executive director of the
Ecumenical Institute for
Jewish-Christian Studies,
will speak on "The
December Dilemma: A
Christian Perspective."
As well as being a lec-
turer at the Temple Israel
Adult Education classes,
the Rev. Lyons also is an
adjunct professor in the
department of religious
studies at University of
Detroit-Mercy. He is a vis-
iting lecturer at James
Madison College, Michi-
gan State University and
has been active pastor
at the Congregational
Church for 33 years.
Dessert will be served
after the Reverend Lyon's
discussion. There is a
charge for the evening.
