Francois Mitterrand anal. Chaim Herzog officially in-ci augurated the France-Israel House, located near the Arch, of Triumph in the heart of Paris. A first meeting of a club of French and Israeli in-I dustrialists was to be held, there, hosted by French Commerce and Foreign Trade Minister Dominique Strauss-Kahn. The Israeli president rais! ed the issue of the Arab boycott against Israel. Mr Mitterrand responded bY recalling that he had pushed through legislation opposing the Arab ban on trade with Israel. He said those still complying with the boycott are not following official acl. vice. The French president, who is due to pay his second offil cial visit to Israel soon, said relations between the two countries are strong. Jerusalem (JTA) — Polices have released a member the extremist Kach move- ment who had been detained in connection with a grenade attack in the Old City of Jerusalem that killed an Arab shopkeeper and wounded 12 others. Nathan Levy, 21, of Petach, Tikvah was released after proved that at the time o the attack he was in the Jerusalem police lockup visiting Kach members hel there in detention.
