Florine Ross
Gives Talk

BAHM Women
Host Dinner

Florine Mark Ross, president
and CEO of Weight Watchers
Group, Inc., will address a
gathering on behalf of the
Allied Jewish Campaign 6
p.m. Dec. 3 at her home.
Sponsored by the Rishon
Section of the Jewish Federa-
tion Business and Profes-
sional Women's Division, the
meeting is for contributors of
$100 or more to the 1993
Campaign.
Ms. Ross, whose company
employs more than 2,500 peo-
ple and is the largest fran-
chise of Weight Watchers In-
ternational, is frequently
cited for her community ser-
vice. She is a member of
Federation's Executive Com-
mittee and serves as an ex-
ecutive trustee for Sinai
Hospital. She also is on the
board of the Community
Foundation for Southeastern
Michigan.

"Holiday Fest of Laughs and
Wraps" Dec. 9 at Crosswinds
Mall, Lone Pine and Orchard
Lake roads, West Bloomfield.
The dinner and silent auc-
tion will begin 6:30 p.m.,
followed by comedienne Nor-
ma Zager, magician Eugene
Clark and a fashion show.

JFS Offers
New Workshop

Kiddushin, a workshop for
couples planning mar-
riage, is being offered by
Jewish Family Service for
seven weeks.
The first five weeks are
led by a certified marriage
and family therapist. The
classes follow an outline
that includes a variety of
factors that have an
impact on the couples.
Among the areas dis-
cussed are expectations,
communication, conflict
negotiation and dual
careers. The session on
finances and money man-
agement will be conducted
by a certified financial
adviser. The seventh ses-
sion will be led by a rabbi.
The workshop will meet
Tuesday evenings, 6:3C-
8:30 p.m., beginning Jan.
12 at Jewish Family
Service, 24123 Greenfield
Rd., Southfield.
