Nursery Classes

"Baby and Me: Super
S.T.A.R." is a new class
starting at Temple
Emanu-El Nursery School
in January. The class will
meet once a week and is
designed for parents along
with their babies, age
three months through pre-
walking. The class will
include a comprehensive
parent education segment
in addition to songs, fin-
ger plays and creative
movement for parent and
baby to enjoy together.
Guest resource profes-
sionals will present infor-
mation on parenting con-
cerns and will be available
for informal discussions.
The class will meet
Tuesday mornings 9:30 -
10:30, beginning Jan. 12.

Other "January Hap-
penings" at the nursery
school include a Parent-
Toddler class for parents
and children age 18
months through 2 1/2
years. Another option for
the youngest children will
ba a morning "On My
Own" class. This program
offers children age 2 to 2
1/2 years an opportunity
to experience nursery
school without being
accompanied by a parent.
Children do not need to
be toilet trained for this or
any other nursery school
class.
