Hearing Loss
Groups Meet

The Hearing Loss Support
Groups of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will hold
meetings in November. The
group will meet 10 a.m. Nov.
13 at the Jimmy Prentis Mor-
ris building. They also will
meet at the Maple-Drake
building 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16.
Meetings are free to JCC
members. The support group
will meet 7 p.m. Nov. 18 in the
Maple-Drake building.

will be shown 2 p.m. Nov. 13
at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Jewish Community Center.
There is no charge.
A federally-funded kosher
hot lunch program is offered
Monday through Friday at
the JPM. Meals are reserved
beginning at 10 a.m. each
weekday on a first-come, first-
served basis for persons age
60 and older. A donation of
$2.00 is suggested. Contact
Cora Terrell, 968-1260, for
information.
Weekly drop-in party bridge
games are offered Tuesdays
12:30 p.m. at the JPM. Sup-
plies are provided and light
refreshments are served.
There is a charge.
Blood pressure and fast
blood sugar tests are offered
through Sinai Hospital's
Senior Health Screening each
Thursday 1-3:30 p.m. at the
JPM.
Broadway show tunes and
Yiddish melodies are part of
the Wednesday Afternoon
Social 1-3 p.m. at the JPM.
Local entertainers and musi-
cians perform. Refreshments
are served.
The Jewish Community
Center offers a Russian
Language lecture the second
Tuesday of each month 3 p.m.
at the JPM. The focus is on
Russian authors; the pre-
senter is Asia Levin.
Bingo is the game of choice
12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the
JPM.
Russian Language films
are shown at the JPM the
first and third Friday of each
month at 2 p.m. There is no
charge.
International Folkdancing
is offered 9:30 a•m. each
Wednesday morning at the
JPM.
