Old Masters
At Park West

Classic images created by
three of the art world's most
famous figures will be the
focus of Park West Gallery's
newest exhibition and sale.
"Old Master's" features
more than 70 works by Rem-
brandt, Durer and Goya. The
masterworks that comprise
the "Old Masters" exhibit
have been collected from
around the world over a five
year period.
A variety of media, il-
lustrating a wide range of
subjects, will be displayed.
The works represent over four
centuries of artistic genius.
Corresponding with the
"Old Masters' exhibit, Park
West Gallery announces the
creation of "An Insiders
Guide to Fine Art Collecting,"
Volume 14, Issue 1. The
publication contains 76 il-
lustrated works by Rem-
brandt, Durer and Goya, as
well as a critical commentary
by David R. Smith, a pro-
fessor of art history at the
University of New Hampshire
and an authority on
Rembrandt.
Park West Gallery is
located at 29469 Nor-
thwestern Highway in
Southfield. Gallery hours are
Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-6
p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 10
a.m.-9 p.m., and Saturday and
Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

In 1844 Warder Cresson of
Philadelphia became the
first American consul in
Palestine and the region.
Enthralled by the life of the
Jewish community there, he
converted to Judaism and
changed his name to Israel
Boaz.

photography, metalwork,
drawing, printmaking, and
mixed media. Fiber wear-
ables and jewelry will be
among the artwork for sale.
