The social action committee
will sponsor a food and
clothes drive for a local
homeless shelter beginning
Nov. 6.
There will be a Shabbat
dinner 7:00 p.m. Nov. 6 follow-
ing services at 6:15. There is
a charge; reservations are
required.
Hillel and the MSU
Chavurah will sponsor a
kumsitz 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 com-
plete with storyteller Richard
Berg, guitar players and a
Havdalah service.
The social committee will
sponsor a Regression Party
with toys, games and child-
ren's videos 6 p.m. Nov. 8.
Rabbi Jacobowitz of
Machon L'Torah in Oak Park
will present a program 6 p.m.
Nov. 9. His talk is titled
"Temptations, Consequences
and the Design of the
Universe" and will include a
free deli dinner.
Zoe Olefsky, from Hebrew
University, will hold an infor-
mation session 6:00 p.m. Nov.
12 followed by a Jewish iden-

Tanner Lectures presents
Amos Oz, Israeli author, 4
p.m. Nov. 11 at Rackham
Auditorium. His topic will be
"The Israeli Palestinian Con-
flict: Tragedy, Comedy, and
Cognitive Block: A Story-
teller's Point of View."

Is Program

The Jewish Student Associa-
tion of Oakland Community
College-Orchard Ridge will
have a program on sell
defense, noon-1 p.m. Nov. 10

defense director at CMI

Southfield.
The session is free of
