Jazz harpist and singer Onita
Sanders will present a pro-
gram of classical, jazz and folk
music Nov. 15 at the monthly
meeting of the Middle Years
Group of 'Temple Beth El. The
1 p.m. program, preceded by
cake and coffee at 12:30 p.m.,
is open to seniors without
charge.
Ann Brandman, come-
dienne, will appear before a
luncheon meeting of the Beth
Elders noon Nov. 17 at the
temple. Reservations are re-
quired for the luncheon and
there is a charge.

Plans Exhibit

The Senior Arts League will
host a reception to honor the
artists whose works are
selected for the seventh an-
nual juried art show. The
public is invited 7-9 p.m. Nov.
17 at the Burgh site, nor-
theast corner of Berg Road
and Civic Center Drive.
The art exhibit will be open
to the public Nov. 18-Dec. 9,
on Wednesdays 4-8 p.m.,
Saturdays noon-4 p.m. and
Sundays 1-4 p.m.

Workshops Set
On Older Adults

Nearly 75 Jewish Federation
agency professionals who
work directly with or on pro-
grams for seniors are gather-
ing Nov. 6 for the Jewish
Inter-Agency Networkshop on
services to older adults at the
United Hebrew Schools.
An outgrowth of the Agen-

cy Executives' Task Force on
Aging, which aims to enhance
Federation and agency col-
laboration and community-
wide planning on services to
older adults, the conference is
introducing a new communi-
ty resource directory of all the
services for seniors available
in the community.
At the meetings, par-
ticipants are learning about
the many resources for older
adults available through the
agencies of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit. Professionals also are
networking with colleagues
from all Federation agencies
serving older adults.
The planning committee of
the Networkshop, which was
organized by Federation's
Department of Planning and
Agency Relations, includes:
Barbara Aronow of the
Jewish Community Center,
Barbara Hollie of Sinai
Hospital, Gloria Bender of
Jewish Vocational Service,
Carol Kaczander of Jewish In-
formation Service, Judy
Kotzen of Jewish Family Ser-
vice, Marica Mittelman of the
Jewish Home for Aged, An-
drew Rosner of Jewish
Federation Apartments and
Reuben Rotman of
Federation.
The Task Force includes:
Chairman Alan Goodman,
executive director of IFS;
Leslie Bash, branch director
of the Jimmy Prentis Morris
JCC; Arnold Budin, executive
director of JHA; Marsha
Goldsmith, executive director

B'nai Moshe
USY Plans

The USY Chapter of Con-
gregation B'nai Moshe will
host the following events.
An Oneg Shabbat will be at
the synagogue Nov. 13. The
Oneg Shabbat at Rabbi Elliot
Pachter's house will be
December 4. A casino night
will take place at the
synagogue Dec. 12.
