Miracle Mission
Deadline Nears

Nov. 16 is the deadline to
receive a discount on the cost
of the Michigan Miracle Mis-
sion to Israel April 18-28,
1993.
Those who pay $1,993 in
full by Nov. 16 will receive a
$50 discount on the cost of the
trip. The last day for payment
in full and to ensure a place
on the non-fund-raising mis-
sion is Feb. 1.
Although spaces on the mis-
sion have been filled, in-
terested persons on the
waiting list have a good
chance of going on the trip. As
cancellations arise due to
unanticipated personal
reasons, those on the waiting
list will be moved up to fill
those spots on a first-come,
first-served basis.
Each bus group will be like
a mini-mission. All will have
the same itinerary, but each
bus will be self-contained,
alternating visits to the
various sites with the other
buses. Some events will bring
the entire group together.
The mission will be based

in Jerusalem, with day trips
to various parts of the coun-
try. There will be one over-
night stay in Tiberias when
the group visits the Galilee
and the Golan Heights.
Participants who wish to ex-
tend their stay in Israel until
May 9 can do so by paying a
$50 extension handling fee
without an additional charge
for the air fare. Those who
wish to stop in Europe on
their return will be assessed
an extra cost for their airfare
in addition to the $50 exten-
sion handling fee. After April
27, travelers will have to
make their own land
arrangements.
The Michigan Miracle Mis-
sion is sponsored by the
Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit in
cooperation with The Jewish
News, celebrating its 50th an-
niversary, and many con-
gregations and organizations
throughout the state.
For information and ap-
plication, call the mission of-
fice at Federation, 642-4260.
