Sunday religious schools to get the word out and
to distribute contribution packets. This was not a
walk-a-thon format where money was pledged.
Instead money was collected up front.
Participants walked for 1 1/2 miles around des-
ignated areas of the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Campus. Following the walk, the
children were encouraged to help paint a banner
for next year's walk and treated to autographs
and a speech from Channel 7 sports director Don
