tifkOstei '' -slragktadthAtb • CUSTOM DESIGNED WOODWORK "Children's Art for Peace," an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Arab and Jewish students of the Givat Haviva Institute's Art Center in Hadera, Israel, will be on display Oct. 25-Dec. 6 at Tem- ple Beth El. The exhibition is the result of a program in which middle school students from the Arab villages of Arara and neighboring kibbutzim come together to develop artistic skills and shed prejudice and mistrust. The art on display was produced during the third year of this program, a year marked by the onset of the Gulf War. The exhibit comes to Tem- ple Beth El through the generosity of the Stein Fami- ly Fund. "Children's Art for Peace" will be on display dai- ly 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Special tours may be arranged during those hours as well as on evenings and Sundays. Faith Is Lecture Topic "Faith After the Holocaust: How does one believe in God after Auschwitz?" will be the subject of a lecture delivered by Rabbi Morton Yolkut 8:15 p.m. Nov. 4 at the B'nai David Institute for Adult Education at the synagogue. The lecture is the second in a series titled "Jewish Dilem- mas in the 90's." The series is open to the community without charge.
