The bride-to-be earned her
bachelor's degree in biology
and a bachelor's degree in
science education from
Florida State University.
Her fiance earned his
associate's degree from

is completing his degree in

Day of Thought

Machon L'Torah will hold a
day of Jewish thought noon
Nov. 4, with Rabbi David
Gottlieb as scholar in
residence. The program will
include a lunchtime con-
ference on the topic of "The
Torah: God-Given? Beyond
the Reasonable Doubt!" at
5000 Town Center, in the
Community Room. A deli
lunch will be served.
Rabbi Gottlieb will deliver
lectures on the topics of "The
Twenty-First Century & The
Adolescence of Science" 7:30
p.m., and "Divine Providence
and Personal Responsibility,"
9 p.m. Nov. 4. Refreshments
will be served at the Machon
Learning Center. There is a
fee.
Rabbi Gottlieb, the author
of The Informed Soul, taught
analytical philosophy at
Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore.
