Introducing Beaumont's Change of Heart Program

It can help you prevent
or possibly reverse heart disease.

Beaumont's new Change of Heart
program is designed to help you
reduce your chances of having a heart
attack, even if you already have a
personal history of heart disease.

The Beaumont Change of Heart Program
was specifically designed for people who
have, or are concerned about developing,
heart disease. For some people, the
program may serve as an alternative to
heart surgery or angioplasty.

The program helps you commit to a new
life strategy that can prevent and possibly
reverse the development of heart disease
by showing you how to control the risk
factors in your life that can lead to a
heart attack.

The Change of Heart Program focuses on
risk factors in your life that can lead to
heart disease including:

Beaumont cardiologists and other medical
specialists, knowledgeable in the latest
research and medical advancements, will
provide you with the necessary strategies
to live a longer, healthier and happier life.

Here's how the program works.

Beaumont's Change of Heart Program is a
two-week, team-approach program
involving you and a partner in intensive
medical testing, evaluations and education.
Your partner can be your spouse, a family
member or friend who will encourage you
in your new way of life. Your partner's
participation is essential in the education
portions of the program.

Specialists in the following areas
will work with you:






Cardiology
Psychology
Exercise physiology
Nutrition

The design of the program is intended
to complement the care provided by
your physician.
