for Judaic Studies of Wayne
State University will present
Peter Hayes, professor of
history and German at Nor-
thwestern University, as the
speaker in a program titled
"The Business of German
Business and the Business of
Anti-Semitism." Dr. Hayes is
a scholar of modern German
history and has written and
edited two major works.
Dr. Hayes will speak on
"Profits and Persecution: Ger-
man Big Business and Nazi
Anti-Semitism" 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 1. This lecture, which is
co-sponsored by Adat Shalom
Synagogue and the Midrasha-
College of Jewish Studies,
will be held at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
Dr. Hayes will speak on
The Study of the Holocaust:
Directions and Controver-
sies" 4 p.m. Nov. 2 at Wayne
State University, Room 226
Manoogian Hall.
Both lectures are open to
the community. There is no
charge.

Fairgrounds Nov. 7-9.
