Young Leadership Awards

Frank A. Wetsman
Memorial Leadership Award
Ronald A. Klein

Sylvia Simon Greenberg
Young Leadership Award
Kathleen Wilson-Fink

Service and potential for
leadership are among the
criteria for this award,
presented each year to a
young woman who has
demonstrated a commitment
to Federation, the Allied
Jewish Campaign and the
community at large.

Described as "knowledge-
able, tireless, dedicated and
a natural leader," Ron Klein
was a logical choice for this
annual award, which
recognizes an emerging
leader.

This year, Ron co-chaired
the Economic Forum and the
Young Adult Division
Political Awareness Commit-
tee. He also serves on the
Federation Community Services Division, the Leadership Develop-
ment Committee and YAD Executive Committee. He is education
chairman of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and
chairman of the Yeshiva Gedolah event.

Kathy Wilson-Fink has devot-
voted time, energy and skill
to many areas of Federation
activity. She chaired the 1992 Walk for Israel and served on
several leadership development committees. In addition, Kathy is
active in the National Council of Jewish Women, Temple Israel
and the Bar-Ilan Worker Committee.

Continuing his active participation in the Allied Jewish Campaign,
Ron will serve next year as area chairman of the United Jewish
Appeal Young Leadership Cabinet.

With the Women's Division, she chairs the Speakers Circle and
sits on the board and many education and Campaign committees.
In the coming year, Kathy will chair the division's worker training
effort.

Berman Award for Outstanding Professional Service

Carol Rosenberg

A motivator who can draw a smile from the
most withdrawn resident -- that's how Carol
Rosenberg is described by her fellow staff
members at the Jewish Home for Aged,
where she is director of community
relations and development.

This award recognizes her contributions as
a Jewish communal professional employed
by a constituent agency of the Jewish
Federation.

Carol has served with the Home for 12
years, including a period as administrator
and program director at the Home's
Fleischman Residence and assistant director
of Borman Hall.
