JUNE 19 — Paul and Debra
(Kleiman) Walter proudly an-
nounce the birth of their son,
Ari Philip Walter, brother to
Mallory Frances and Max
Louis. The ecstatic grand-
parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Seymour Kleiman and Mrs.
Edith Walter. Ari is named in
loving memory of his mater-
nal great-grandfathers,
Abraham Acker and Louis
Kleiman, and his paternal
grandfather, Dr. Paul Walter.

Emma Lazarus, whose plea
for an American home for
the homeless of the world is
inscribed on the pedestal of
the Statue of Liberty, wrote
an "Epistle to the Hebrews"
in 1883, making a similar
and no less fervent plea for
Palestine as "a Home for the
Homeless, a Goal for the
Wanderer and an Asylum
for the persecuted."

ANSWER: If you want more
house for your dollar, you have
good cause to look over older
houses. For one thing, there are
more old houses than new ones.
For every new house that will go
up this year, there are some 45
existing homes already on the
market.
Many older homes offer more
abundant space - a special
attraction if you have a large
family, but a limited budget.
Most old homes are in well-
established, well-developed
neighborhoods. There will be no
waiting for streets to be paved,
sewers to be connected or
schools to be built. All that is
going to grace the neighborhood
is already there.
