Assembly of America and
served in the Chicago Region
as vice president of the Rab-

tor at WJBK-TV2 and host of
"Focus Detroit," will be the
speaker at the 65th opening
meeting of the League of
Jewish Women's Organiza-
tions, 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Mr. Weaver has been in
broadcasting since 1948. He
has produced and written
many documentaries and
organized TV2's first special
projects unit to broadcast a
weekly news documentary.
The League of Jewish
Women's Organizations is an
umbrella organization of
Jewish women's groups
throughout the Metropolitan
Detroit area. The presidents
of the various groups within
the League will be honored.
