man, columnist for the Detroit
News, the gathering will
focus on women's issues in the
presidential race.
An elected officer of the
Michigan Democratic Party,
Ms. Dingell is a national ad-
vocate for women's and
children's health issues and
chairs the Michigan Infant
Mortality Task Force and
Washington's Women's
Health Resource Center.
Ms. Romney has served as
chairman of the President's
Commission on White House
Fellowship and serves as
political consultant for
WXYZ-TV 7 Action News '92
presidential campaign
coverage. She also was a
member of Gov. John Engler's
transition team on policy,and
speaks frequently about con-
temporary issues regarding
politics, education and the
family.
