David Victor
Receives Award

David R. Victor has been
awarded the first national
Harry Rosen Young Leader-
ship Award for young Jewish
leaders in local communities.
The award is named for the
late Harry Rosen, who was in-
strumental in expanding the
role of lay leaders in the
governing process of the
Jewish Agency for Israel.
Mr. Victor, chairman of the
Jewish Federation Young
Adult Division Executive
Committee, will participate
in the Agency's General
Assembly in Jerusalem in
October.
A member of the UJA
Young Leadership Cabinet
since 1990, Mr. Victor is local
co-chairman of the Chazak
United Jewish Appeal Young
Leadership Mission to Latvia,
Russia and Israel.
Mr. Victor is past president
of YAD and has served on the
board since 1989. Past YAD
Campaign co-chairman. he
also was a member of Federa-
tion's Strategic Planning
Committee, served as YAD
liaison to the Community
Services Division and par-
ticipated in the Advanced
Leadership Enrichment
Series.

The group will provide an op-
portunity for participants to
socialize as well as to discuss
issues of concern to
themselves
and
their
families.
This six-week group is open
to members of the Jewish
community. The group will be
led by a trained facilitator.
